My Story
I'm Sondra Jones-Thigpen — teacher, investor, trader, and founder of From Lack to Legacy. For three decades, I showed up for other people's children. I poured everything I had into classrooms, curricula, and communities. And I was good at it. But I knew something else was true too.
I knew my worth. And I knew my portfolio could fund a different life.

So I made a decision — not out of defeat, but out of clarity. I retired. I traveled the world. I learned to trade. I built a life that looks nothing like what I was told was possible for a woman who grew up without financial privilege.
